How I Replace a Belt On My Harley?

Firstly, place my motorcycle on a stable platform where it can stand upright securely. To access both sides, so ensure my workspace is adequate.

Then, begin by removing the outer primary cover using the appropriate tools. Once the cover is off, then you will see the driver belt looped around the front and rear sprockets. 

Take note of how it’s installed; you’ll need this information when installing the new belt. Carefully remove the old belt by loosening the rear wheel and sliding it forward.

Loop the new belt over the front and rear sprockets in the same manner as the old one was installed. Make sure it’s seated properly on both sprockets.

Slide the rear wheel backward to create tension on the belt. It should be tight enough that the belt doesn’t slip but not so tight that it hinders rotation.
